The Winner’s Edge Time Trial wrapped up the 2025 season on a fast 10.28-mile course in Paget. Kaden Hopkins dominated the A category, while Justin Brigham topped B and Tracy Wright claimed C. Panzy Olander led the women, and youth rider Hannes Swart impressed in the 11–12 division. Thanks to Winner’s Edge, officials, and volunteers for closing out the year’s racing in style.

The VT Construction Criterium brought fast racing to Hamilton on September 14. Winner’s Edge swept the A/B race with Matt Boys taking the win, while Jens Drea (VT Construction) claimed the C race. Youth riders also shone, with Ronan Davadge winning 13/14 and Maxwell Williams topping 12 & Under. Thanks to VT Construction, officials, and volunteers for making the event a success.

Bermuda’s juniors brought home four medals from the 2025 Caribbean Junior Cycling Championships in Barbados. Charlotte Millington won gold in the time trial and silver in the road race, Skye Ferguson claimed bronze in the time trial, and Jacob Wright earned bronze in the 15/16 men’s time trial. Strong rides from Andrew Thomas and debutant Keon Stevens capped a proud showing for Team Bermuda.

Bermuda will field a five-rider team at the 2025 Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships in Barbados on August 30–31. Led by returning riders Charlotte Millington, Skye Ferguson (in her third year), and Andrew Thomas, alongside first-timers Keon Stevens and Jacob Wright, the squad will be supported by coaches Peter Dunne and Chequan Richardson.

Charlotte Millington placed 13th in the Junior Pan Am Games time trial with a time of 40:56.76, showing focus and determination against a top international field. She now turns her attention to the road race this Sunday, the BBA wishes her the very best as she continues to represent Bermuda with pride.

Bermuda’s junior national champion Charlotte Millington will represent the island at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay, competing in the time trial and road race. The Caribbean MTB Championships served as a qualifier for the 2026 CAC Games. Robin Horsfield’s 8th place finish may still secure Bermuda a spot, as host nation Dominican Republic had four riders in the top seven but can only qualify two. This opens the door for Bermuda to claim one of the available slots.

Bermuda’s 2025 National MTB Champions, Gabriella Arnold and Robin Horsfield, are set to compete at the Caribbean Mountain Bike Championships in the Dominican Republic on July 25. Racing in the elite XCO events, both aim to qualify Bermuda for the 2026 CAC Games—a potential first for the island in mountain biking.

Conor White and Karen Bordage claimed victory in the 2025 Bermuda National Road Race Championships in St. David’s, with thrilling finishes across all categories. Riders faced a gruelling test in Sunday’s BJC Road Race, with each lap featuring the steep ascent of Lighthouse Hill. The climb proved to be the breaking point, shattering the packs and shaping the final results. Conor White and Gianluca Bortoli emerged victorious in their respective categories after smart tactics and strong legs over the challenging South Shore circuit.

A unique dual-stage time trial hosted by Bermuda Rouleurs Cycling Club saw riders tackle both a steep hill climb and a flat sprint course in St. David’s. Combining times from both stages, Nicholas Narraway claimed the overall win. Race Recap: Winners Edge Criterium – June 1, 2025 Tight turns and fast laps defined Sunday’s criterium at Cross Island, where local cyclists battled it out for top honours. Conor White powered through 35 laps to take the A/B Race win, while Jens Drea and Lucas Eiselt claimed victory in the C/W and 12 & Under categories, respectively. Special thanks to Race Director Mark Simons, Race Official Dave Collins, and Timing Lead Peter Dunne for making the day a success.

The 2025 Sinclair Packwood Memorial Race saw 52 riders take on the Bermuda Day tradition from St. George’s to Hamilton. Matt Boys won overall in 27:39, with standout performances from Caitlin Conyers, Jackson Langley, and Charlotte Millington. Thanks to the 70+ volunteers and event team led by Debbie Titterton Narraway for making the race a success.

The V.T. Construction Road Race returned May 18 with strong fields across all categories. Matt Boys claimed the A category win, Wayne Scott topped B, and Tracy Wright sprinted to victory in C. Arlene MacGuinness led the Women’s field. Thanks to Race Director Dominique Mayho, Official Anna Moniz, and Peter Dunne for timing services.

Steven Smith and Skye Ferguson claimed overall wins at the Bermuda Junior Cycling Time Trial on May 11. Riders tackled a 7.5-mile solo course, with standout performances across all categories. Top finishers included Wayne Scott (B), Gianluca Bortoli (C), Ethan Smith (13–14), and Colette Durkin (11–12). Thanks to Race Director and Timer Peter Dunne and Race Official Dominique Mayho for a successful event.

The Bermuda Bicycle Association celebrated the standout performers of 2024, honouring top athletes, volunteers, and organisers. Highlights included Charlotte Millington as Most Improved Junior, Jackson Langley as Junior Rider of the Year, and international success from Gabriella Arnold, Nicholas Narraway, and Kaden Hopkins. As the BBA marks its 50th anniversary, these awards reflect the strength and spirit of Bermuda’s cycling community.

Wil Drea, Sam Bullen, Gordon Smith, Carina Bortoli, Spencer Haldeman, and Naomi MacGuinness each claimed wins in their respective categories.
