BRCC Dual-Stage Time Trial S. David's
The Bermuda Rouleurs Cycling Club (BRCC) hosted a one-of-a-kind individual time trial that pushed riders to their limits—twice. Dubbed “Up de Hill & On de Flat,” the race featured two contrasting stages in a single competition, combining the results from both to crown overall and category champions.
Stage 1: Up de Hill - Riders launched from Great Head Park in St. David’s and climbed Lighthouse Hill via Great Bay and Texas Road. This short, sharp uphill test favoured punchy climbers and strong-legged specialists.
Stage 2: On de Flat - After a quick relocation to Coopers Island Road, cyclists lined up for a flat, fast out-and-back course that rewarded pacing, power, and aerodynamic focus.
Both stages offered unique challenges, and riders had to be versatile to succeed. Times from each stage were combined to determine final results.
