WHO WE ARE
The Bermuda Bicycle Association (BBA) is the national governing body for the sport of cycling in Bermuda.
Affiliated with the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the Caribbean Cycling Confederation (CCC), and the Bermuda Olympic Association (BOA), the BBA develops, governs, and promotes all aspects of cycling on the island — from youth riders discovering the sport to elite athletes representing Bermuda on the world stage.
OUR LEADERSHIP
The BBA is managed by an elected Executive Committee and supported by volunteers who serve as race officials, coaches, and event organisers.
Together, they ensure the continued growth and integrity of cycling across Bermuda.

INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS & OUR HISTORY
Cycling has a proud history in Bermuda — from early road races in the 1940s to international podiums on the world stage. Over the decades, the Bermuda Bicycle Association has guided riders from community club races to representing Bermuda at the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Pan American Championships, and Caribbean Cycling Championships.
Our athletes have earned medals across the region, set national records, and built a reputation for excellence and sportsmanship. Today, the BBA continues to build on this foundation, developing the next generation of riders while preserving the spirit of competition that defines Bermuda cycling.
GOVERNANCE & INTEGRITY
The Bermuda Bicycle Association operates as a registered charity dedicated to fair, safe, and transparent sport. Our governance framework is guided by the BBA Bylaws, Memorandum of Association, and Rule Book, ensuring that all aspects of cycling in Bermuda are managed with accountability and integrity.

We uphold the principles of clean sport through full compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code and the Bermuda Sport Anti-Doping Authority (BSADA). Safeguarding is equally essential. The BBA promotes a positive and protective environment for all riders, volunteers, and supporters.

International racing is governed by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), under which the BBA issues international licences to eligible Bermudian riders.
