Final Time Trial of the Season Wraps Up at Winner’s Edge

September 21, 2025

Stonington Rd, South Shore

The Bermuda Bicycle Association’s 2025 time trial season concluded on Sunday, September 21, with the Winner’s Edge Time Trial, starting and finishing on Stonington Avenue, Paget.

Riders tackled a 10.28-mile out-and-back course to Church Bay, while youth competitors in the 11–12 category turned at Horseshoe Bay Road. Each rider set off at 60-second intervals in the true spirit of the “race of truth.”

Despite a smaller field, likely impacted by the AON Triathlon on the same morning, the event delivered exciting performances across all categories.

In the B category, Justin Brigham continued his strong season with a clear win, while seasoned campaigners Keon Stevens and Darren Glasford rounded out the podium.

The C category produced one of the tightest battles of the morning: Tracy Wright secured the top step, just ahead of teammates Paulo Medeiros and Jonah MacGuinness, with less than a second separating second and third place. In the women’s field, Panzy Olander impressed with her sub-30 minute ride, while Naomi MacGuinness put in a strong effort for second.
