Charlotte Millington to Represent Bermuda at 2025 Junior Pan American Games

We’re just days away from the opening of the ASU 2025 Junior Pan American Games, and Bermuda is preparing to shine on the continental stage, with 24 young athletes competing across seven sports in Asunción, Paraguay, from August 9–23.

Among the athletes proudly flying Bermuda’s flag is Charlotte Millington, who will be the island’s sole cycling representative at the Games. A national junior champion, Millington will compete in two road cycling events:

  • Time Trial – Sunday, August 9 | 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

  • Road Race – Monday, August 18 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Travelling with Millington is Cheququan Richardson, who will attend the official technical meetings and serve as her mechanic and on-the-ground support during the competition. His role will be critical in ensuring Charlotte has the equipment, guidance, and calm professionalism needed to focus on performance.

Charlotte will be joined in Paraguay by 12 individual athletes and Bermuda’s men’s rugby sevens team, all representing Bermuda with pride and determination.

Held every four years, the Junior Pan Am Games are a springboard for emerging talent. The inaugural edition took place in Cali, Colombia in 2021, where Bermuda’s Kaden Hopkins made history by claiming a silver medal in the time trial—the island’s first medal at the event. This year’s team will no doubt look to build on that legacy.

The Bermuda Bicycle Association is incredibly proud of Charlotte’s continued development and selection for these prestigious Games. Her inclusion is a testament to the island’s growing youth cycling programme and her own commitment to the sport.
