The Fat Tire Massive Endurance Race took place at Ferry Point Park on a fantastic 4-mile loop—an awesome course paired with near-perfect conditions.
At this stage of the 2026 FTM race season, racers have built a solid fitness base, making this the ideal moment to put endurance to the test. FTM delivered with a 4-hour endurance format, open to individuals or teams of up to three riders. By the 8:00 p.m. Saturday cutoff, the field included 17 solo racers and 10 teams, for a total of 44 riders on the day.
By Sunday morning the rain had cleared, leaving behind cool, refreshing breezes that were more welcome than challenging. The event ran exceptionally smoothly, with no mechanical failures, only a few minor spills and an amazing spread of refreshments—an impressive and welcome outcome for an endurance race.
A few standout mentions:
Jackson Langley, for demonstrating incredible staying power and dominating the race from start to finish.
Team J & J, for what can only be described as the worst tag handover ever.
Gordon Smith, for an unforgettable (and possibly legendary) worst race start.
The youth teams, who reminded everyone exactly what 10- to 12-year-olds are capable of—seriously impressive riding.
Thanks to all the racers, sponsors and supporters who made this endurance event such a success. See you at the next one
