Olympic Games
For a nation as small as Bermuda, qualifying for the Olympic Games in road cycling is an extraordinary challenge. Competing at this level requires not only immense talent and dedication, but also the ability to earn qualification in one of the most competitive sporting arenas in the world.

Bermuda has proudly been represented at the Olympics on two occasions in men’s road cycling:
1996
Atlanta Olympic Games
Men’s Road Race
Elliot Hubbard carried the Bermuda colours onto the world stage in another fiercely contested Olympic road race.
1984
Los Angeles Olympic Games
Men’s Road Race
Clyde Wilson competed in the elite field, marking Bermuda’s debut in Olympic cycling.
While Olympic qualification in modern cycling remains a formidable hurdle for a country of Bermuda’s size, these historic achievements stand as a testament to the strength and determination of Bermudian athletes who have reached the pinnacle of international competition.
