The BBA President’s Cup is one of Bermuda’s premier road races—a long, round-the-island test that rewards endurance, race craft, and fearless climbing. The route strings together North Shore crosswinds, Causeway exposure, the South Shore rollers, and a fast run to the finish, so it’s as tactical as it is tough.

The course & format

• Start/finish & distance: Starts on Front Street (#1 Car Park) with a neutral rollout; recent editions cover ~53–66 miles depending on course year and finish location. Finish is typically on South Road by Southlands Park. bikesignup.com

• Island loop (typical flow): Front Street → Pitts Bay → St. John’s Rd → North Shore to Flatts & Blue Hole → Causeway / Kindley Field → Southside & Cooper’s Island loop → Harrington Sound → South Road to Barnes Corner → Somerset & Dockyard U-turn → return via Somerset/Middle Rd → South Road finish. 

• Edition: The 2025 race is listed as the 12th edition. 

Notable moments

• Dominique Mayho’s record haul: By 2022, Mayho secured a record sixth President’s Cup victory, outsprinting Conor White in a photo-finish. 

• Racing resumes after pandemic disruptions: Mayho and Caitlin Conyers took the 2020 crowns as the event closed the season. 

• Olympic-level sprint in 2024: Conor White and Erica Hawley won in tight finishes.
